SUMMARY

As Branch Manager, you manage branch staff activities including the origination, processing, closing and funding of mortgage loans within the branch. Assure excellent quality service is provided to our customers. Anticipates and prepares for the continued growth of the branch and recruits and trains new employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages a staff of Loan Officers Loan Partners, Loan Processors, Jr Processors, and Processing Support Liaisons.
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, coach, and lead a high-quality team.
  • Track, monitor, and manage all staff hours and overtime to maintain productivity and SLA’s.
  • Manage branch productivity and performance to meet or exceed monthly goals
  • Constantly communicate and collaborate with other departments regarding loans submitted to those departments to achieve the best outcome for loan.
  • Resolve, escalate, or remedy customer service issues in a professional manner.
  • Implement new processes on a branch level
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop strategies for branch growth
  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of mortgage loan origination, funding 7+ loans per month
  • Minimum of 3 years managing experience
  • Active NMLS in good standing
  • Advance knowledge of mortgage origination and compliance

SUMMARY
As Loan Officer, you are responsible for building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service.  Thoroughly walking borrowers through the mortgage loan process and act as a liaison between clients and internal staff.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain complete and accurate 1003 and collect supporting documentation
  • Answer client inquiries regarding rates and products
  • Maintain productivity according to SLA
  • Constantly communicate and collaborate with other departments regarding loans submitted to those departments to achieve the best outcome for loan.
  • Manage an accurate CRM
  • Work with Marketing department to create and distribute compliant material
  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Underwriter - Remote Texas

REPORTS TO: VP of Risk/Underwriting Manager

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for underwriting duties associated with Directions Equity, dba Directions Home Loan in accordance with all bank, investor, and regulatory requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Underwrite Conventional, FHA, USDA and VA residential loans ensuring they comply with FNMA, FHLMC, Investor and Government agency guidelines
  • Analyze employment profile, credit worthiness, asset documentation and other pertinent information
  • Analyze property characteristics and all other information pertinent to credit and property decision
  • Respond to product questions and scenarios with suitable answers
  • Ensure compliance with underwriter standards
  • Assist in training new underwriters
  • Provide prompt and quality customer service to both internally and externally by explaining credit decision and offering alternative options when necessary
  • Maintains quality, and production standards
  • Adheres to set turnaround times for reviewing new submissions as well as resubmissions.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, banking, or finance
  • 2-5 years of recent underwriting experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Proficiency in conventional, FHA and VA loans; experience with CHFA, USDA and 203k is a plus
  • Basic understanding of underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology, and automated processing systems
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with mortgage software, such as Calyx Point, Encompass, Data Track or Empower

Disclosure Desk Analyst - On-Site/ Headquarters

REPORTS TO: Compliance Officer

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

The Disclosure Desk Analyst is primarily responsible for reviewing, correcting, and transmitting early disclosure packages, change of circumstances, and closing disclosures. The Disclosure Desk Analyst will also be responsible for data integrity when reviewing the data within Encompass and monitoring pipelines to ensure timely delivery and acceptance of disclosures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audit, verify and ensure that mortgage loan disclosure packages are accurate and comply with regulation timelines and all applicable federal, state, and agency guidelines impacting residential mortgage originations.
  • Acts as a POC for production staff and Compliance as necessary to validate fees associated with the applicable mortgage transaction and deliver disclosure documents.
  • Develop working knowledge of federal and multi-state laws and agency disclosure guidelines affecting residential mortgage origination: TILA REG Z RESPA ECOA FACTA FCRA MDIA BSA/AML HMDA.
  • Answer general inquiries and provide full support to production staff to ensure all issues are handled and resolution is found utilizing multiple communication techniques available such as Teams, Phone, or Outlook.
  • Pipeline management and maintenance to ensure all dates, triggers, and data integrity are addressed and is accurate at all times.
  • Monitoring and managing the Disclosure Inbox and Encompass Views ensuring all RUSH requests are addressed timely.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Officer and VP of Operations to support daily operations related to the disclosing process and any additional projects assigned.
  • Maintains up to date job knowledge of all product codes, disclosure requirements, and compliance needs to ensure accuracy of Disclosures generated daily.
  • Complete/Facilitate additional loan functions as needed

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Disclosure Desk role or similar
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with Encompass
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Loan Processor - On-Site/ Headquarters

REPORTS TO: Processing Manager

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all loans originated by our loan officers. Loan Processor will act as a Liaison between Loan Officers, borrowers and Underwriters to facilitate a smooth loan approval process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares mortgage loan information and application for presentation to the underwriter.
  • Collects from borrowers, documents about income, employment, monthly bills, bank balances and anything credit and debt related.
  • Makes sure all proper documentation is included, that all numbers are calculated correctly and double checked, and that the loan file is stacked in the proper order according to the company’s stacking order checklist.
  • Verifies credit report, fraud guard check and employer to verify accuracy of information.
  • Provides customer service to all internal personnel, vendors and external customers.
  • Verifies application data is complete and meets established standards and related disclosures meet regulatory compliance.
  • Prepares and distributes processing pipeline reports to all parties for updates.
  • Collects property related information to include for underwriting submission which includes appraisal reports, purchase contracts, title commitments and various title related documents.
  • Coordinates, obtains and reviews pre-closing conditions, including surveys, title work and hazard insurance requirements.
  • Inputs all data into the appropriate software applications.
  • Ensures accuracy of data for each loan.
  • Assists with training of new staff.
  • Adheres to all applicable compliance regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act , Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Lending, Safe Act, Right to Financial Privacy.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED; one year certificate from college or technical school a plus
  • 1-5 years of recent processing experience in the mortgage industry.
