Loan Officer
REPORTS TO: BRANCH MANAGER
EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
As Loan Officer, you are responsible for building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service. Thoroughly walking borrowers through the mortgage loan process and act as a liaison between clients and internal staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain complete and accurate 1003 and collect supporting documentation
- Answer client inquiries regarding rates and products
- Maintain productivity according to SLA
- Constantly communicate and collaborate with other departments regarding loans submitted to those departments to achieve the best outcome for loan.
- Manage an accurate CRM
- Work with Marketing department to create and distribute compliant material
- Other duties as assigned
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1+ years of mortgage loan origination, funding 2+ loans per month
- Excellent knowledge of mortgage origination and compliance
- Active NMLS License is good standing
- Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, fast paced, team-oriented setting
- Working knowledge of PC (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.)
- Encompass experience
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle competing priorities effectively and within established timeframes
