- Manages a staff of Loan Officers Loan Partners, Loan Processors, Jr Processors, and Processing Support Liaisons.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, coach, and lead a high-quality team.

- Working knowledge of PC (MS Windows and Office Products including Word, Excel, etc.)

GRAPHIC ARTIST
- Creates designs for clients that visually communicate desired product or project messages. Designs may be used in various visual media including magazines, billboards, advertising, social media platforms and product packaging.
- Creates various layouts, iconography, package designs, website designs, logos, and illustrations according to client specifications.
- Meets with clients to discuss requirements and the design of the project.

LOAN OFFICER

LOAN PARTNER
- Performs many data input functions including but not limited to inputting files into Loan Origination System and inputting files into Automated Underwriting System(s).
- Sends out all required disclosures so that the bank is in compliance.
- Performs many clerical functions including faxing documents, preparing correspondence, making copies of borrower information, filing, etc.
- Helps the Loan Officer by ordering in-file credit reports and completing all the pre-qualification application, worksheets, approval, and denial documents.
- Maintains and updates the Loan Officer’s customer database, mails thank-you notes to customers and Realtors, implements the Realtor and customer postcard campaigns, prepares fliers and rate sheets and other marketing items. Helps with coordinating open house luncheons, Realtor gifts, holiday parties, etc.
- Orders credit reports, case numbers, appraisals, title insurance, flood letters, and other services required to close the mortgage transactions.
- Strives to fill-in, when possible, for the Loan Officer when unavailable. Answers Loan Officer’s phone, returns calls, and attempts to find answers to the customers’ questions by coordinating with the Loan Officer, Processor and Closer.
- Calls leads, collects borrower financial information, pulls borrower credit information, processes borrower information through our online approval system
- Analyzes borrower credit for pre-approval or denial of loan applications
- Educates borrowers on the loan process, risks and benefits of loan alternatives and types of loan programs that best meet their needs
- Requests and gathers all loan documentation including borrowers' income and asset information
- Facilitates application process by interfacing with customer in taking complete applications.
- Requests documentation from borrowers
- Discusses products and pricing at the request of, or in the absence of, the loan officer
- Takes all initial inquiry calls for pre-qualifications and review data with loan officer
- Acts as liaison between loan officer, branch, and processing center (if applicable) and coordinates submissions and closings.
- Acts as the primary liaison with group of established realtors (20-30) to allow loan officer to concentrate on generating new business
- Reviews complex files
- Identifies potential problems with loan applications and arrive at workable solutions prior to submission to processing.
- Manages pipeline, including updating loan officer on pipeline status and updating borrowers and builders on status of loan.
- Watches for and prevent pipeline fallout and quote rate to pipeline floats
- Coordinates and manages marketing to buyers, sellers, realtors, and builders
- Assists in staffing Realtor/builder open houses and trade shows
- Establishes with loan officer annual number of loans required to fund and close and/or incremental increase in loan officer(s)'s annual production
- If applicable, supports loan officer(s) to achieve high usage of laptop originations.
- Provides a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

Loan Processor
- Prepares mortgage loan information and application for presentation to the underwriter.
- Collects from borrowers, documents about income, employment, monthly bills, bank balances and anything credit and debt related.
- Makes sure all proper documentation is included, that all numbers are calculated correctly and double checked, and that the loan file is stacked in the proper order according to the company’s stacking order checklist.
- Verifies credit report, fraud guard check and employer to verify accuracy of information.
- Provides customer service to all internal personnel, vendors and external customers.
- Verifies application data is complete and meets established standards and related disclosures meet regulatory compliance.
- Prepares and distributes processing pipeline reports to all parties for updates.
- Collects property related information to include for underwriting submission which includes appraisal reports, purchase contracts, title commitments and various title related documents.
- Coordinates, obtains and reviews pre-closing conditions, including surveys, title work and hazard insurance requirements.
- Inputs all data into the appropriate software applications.
- Ensures accuracy of data for each loan.
- Assists with training of new staff.
- Adheres to all applicable compliance regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act , Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Lending, Safe Act, Right to Financial Privacy.
- High school diploma or GED; one year certificate from college or technical school a plus
- 1-5 years of recent processing experience in the mortgage industry.
- Proficiency in conventional, FHA and VA loans; experience with CHFA, USDA and 203k is a plus
- Basic understanding of loan processing and closing policies, procedures, documents, underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology and automated processing systems
- Basic understanding of credit policies and approval processes
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with mortgage software, such as Calyx Point, Encompass, Data Track or Empower
